  • Unpacked Mobile Gallery

The Moving Art Exhibition,UNPACKED a DIY artist space on wheels. The independent exhibition space is a “Mobile Gallery” or “Pop-Up Truck Show.” This truck turned showroom allows for guerrilla art shows around the city of CHICAGO. Finding and affording gallery space is typically a difficult and expensive venture, especially for burgeoning artists. It has occurred to this team of DeKalb-based artists that a more cost-effective way to conduct a pop-up show in the city is to rent a truck and get permission to park it somewhere. Inspired by similar creative projects done elsewhere, we put our own spin on an interactive way to showcase artwork in the city of Chicago.
